Mobile NVR MVR8 is a rugged NVR (network video recorder) for mobile surveillance. It supports real-time 1080p recording plus displaying of up to eight POE IP cameras and is built on the latest advanced H.265 video encoding/decoding technologies, providing high-performance, rock-solid reliability and longer recording.

MVR8 provides advanced communication interfaces such as 8 POE Ethernet ports, one WAN Ethernet port, LTE/3G/GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, CAN Bus, 3 USB ports, RS-485, RS-232. MVR8 has three separate video outputs (HDMI/VGA/CVBS) and is capable of simultaneously displaying different content on two of them.
Very important feature of MVR8 is that it can run AFC board computer and PIS (passenger information system) functions simultaneously in addition to NVR functions. For example, MVR8 can be configured to support 4 POE IP cameras + 4 validators. In this case, the driver computer function runs on the NVR’s CPU, and the driver’s user interfaces are implemented on a conventional HDMI or VGA monitor with a capacitive touchscreen. The PIS function also runs on the NVR’s CPU, and the visualization is performed on the remaining free video output.
MVR8 has built-in GPS receiver and by implementing DTSis VMS software geographic tracking locations are instantly displayed on Google Maps. Live videos can also be displayed remotely, allowing for instant access for complete safety control.
MVR8 incorporates many configurable digital inputs, making possible to associate software actions, such as generating alarm records or displaying a dedicated camera on the driver’s display. IP54 rated. MVR8 is designed and manufactured in full compliance with all standards, relevant to automotive.
MVR8 operates reliably in the harsh electromagnetic and mechanical environments, essential to automotive. All connectors are automotive type with special measures to prevent unintentional disconnections or those, due to vibration. MVR8 supports two HDD (hard disk drives) or SSDs, located in a specially designed removable, vibration and shock resistant drawer. Widely fluctuating supply voltage is taken into account in vehicles – MVR8 operates reliably down to 5VDC and up to 40VDC and withstand up to 200VDC. MVR8 uses super capacitors, allowing operation even after up to 10 seconds of disconnection from the power source. It’s is housed in a die-cast aluminum housing and is IP54 rated. MVR8 is designed and manufactured in full compliance with all standards, relevant to automotive.
MVR8 is designed and manufactured in full compliance with ISO9001:2008 and ISO9002 quality and manufacturing standards. The product is provided with certificates for EMC, EMI, environmental tests (vibrations, impact, ingress, temperature). Each NVR is being exposed to 2 hours accelerated thorough tests – electromagnetic shocks, mechanical impacts, vibrations and temperature deviations. 24 hours long test of the above mentioned are carried out for %1 of the whole manufactured party.
